So I was stumbling along the web today checking out the latest on NPR. I found an interesting story that I wanted to share. Listen and share your thoughts. I'm not sure what I would have done, or if I'd ever do this, in fact I'm not quite sure how I feel about it but, I really hope it works and has a lasting effect.

Wow... Amazing! This guy must have a great sense for people. This can't possibly work on *all* muggers.
The guy certainly has a compassion for humanity and a great understanding of human need and the spirit. I do wonder how things would have been different if the mugger would have approached and behaved in a more violent manner? It sounds like the transaction was pretty smooth. I'm sure the guy felt fear but not like he would have if the mugger would have shoved him around and verbally been more abusive and threatening. It is a great story and it's always good to see the world through the eyes of others but the situation played out in such a way to allow a compassionate person pass on a life lesson to a person less fortunate than himself.
