no rush jazz celebration
Well, that was fast. The news is final. Rush Limbaugh has been dropped from the group that is set to buy The Rams. He was a bad business move, apparently. Ya think?! Wat worries me is the fact they this group included him in the first place. I still have no faith in them. Now they need to find a replacement for Limbaugh and of course Limbaugh's money. (FRIEDA BABBLEY: Rush to buy Rams?)
On the bright side, I won't have to hear Rush's name around town in correlation to The Rams. Soooo... it's time to take a nice relax, alone or with some friends. Yes, some Jazz is in order.
This evening, Winston "Mankunku" Ngozi is featured. A Cape Town South African Jazz musician influenced by the great John Coltrane and so many other favorites.
Here are some perfect pieces by the cloth-capped man himself, Winston "Mankunku" Ngozi. And a link to a wonderfully written tribute article by a good HubPages friend of mine, from Cape Town South Africa, Tony Mac, who got to personally listen to this legend's smooth jazz sounds in his home town. Winston "Mankunku" Ngozi died yesterday at the age of 66. Have a read while you listen: The bellowing horn is stilled farewell Mankunku
